Bobby Morrissey announces ACOA funding of $15,356 for the Canadian Potato Museum
On June 23rd, 2020, Bobby Morrissey, Member of Parliament Egmont, announced $15,356 in tourism funding today for the Canadian Potato Museum.
Delivered by ACOA, this funding will support the development of architectural designs and detailed costing for the implementation of a revitalization plan for the Canadian Potato Museum. Specifically, funding will be provided for architectural and engineering designs as well as financial analysis, which will support the growth and scale-up of the operation.

This funding is part of a support bundle for 82 Atlantic Canadian tourism projects, totalling $11.6 million, along with $2.4M for 9 destination development and marketing organizations to help promote, grow, and support tourism now and in the long-term in Atlantic communities.
Atlantic Canada’s tourism industry is crucial to the vitality of communities across the region, especially Egmont.
